    In this new version, OSG has developed the interface with the SD PLUS amplifier family. In addition, we have enlarged our camera support for AXIS camera's, unlocking features such as 4K and superior audio quality.

  • OSG continues its sales & support activities while taking measures to protect its coworkers! 03-08-20

    Since COVID-19 cases have been rising consistently in the province of Antwerp, ultimately leading to an orange zone label, OSG has taken to obligatory wearing of face masks in all office premises, as well as a restriction of access to the office of all carriers of packages and such.

    On a positive note, OSG is finalizing a prototype for testing its AI prototype at a number of key centers across the Benelux.

  • OSG resumes on site deliveries! 12-05-20

    Now that COVID-19 lockdown measures are slowly becoming less stringent, OSG resumes on site activities such as installations and annual maintenance which have been postponed for several months.

  • OSG releases new RT Software suite version 4.0! 22-04-20

    In the midst of COVID-19 restrictive measures, OSG is continuing its software development from home. This week, we have released RT Software Suite version 4.0 which unleashes a new range of features to our customers!

    Some major features include a new EMG artifact filter that works very well to remove EMG artifacts from seizure onset EEG, the possibility to open measurements with multiple users at the same time, and a full integration with a screening device Somnolter.

  • AI Newsletter: From our latest results to new product development 14-04-20

    During the COVID-19 crisis, our AI development team has been working hard from home to finalize our core AI toolbox. With an average accuracy of 81,3% on all sleep stages and mistakes lowest for Sleep/Wake and REM/NREM decisions, we can't wait to bring this new solution to our customers.

    We'll be working a few more months to have an alpha release of our new hypnogram analysis, and will be partnering with University Hospital of Antwerp to test our prototype. Care to be part of the prototype testing? Don't hesitate to contact us at!

  • OSG granted Baekeland mandate for R&D projects featuring AI! 09-01-20

    Together with KU Leuven and UZ Antwerp, OSG ventures into a PhD project with one of its AI designers, Dries Van der Plas. The project focuses on machine learning techniques to enhance accuracy of automatic analysis in the OSG analysis products.

    New findings will be published and implemented in the OSG software for customers to benefit from! Care to know more? OSG is preparing several Spring meetings at its new offices in Belgium to present results and project agenda!

  • OSG is now part of the Micromed Group! 05-11-19

    In order to expand the product portfolio and presence in the field of clinical neurophysiology, OSG and Micromed have decided to join forces.

    OSG will continue its current activities in sales, support and development and create exciting new synergies with Micromed and partners for an expansion of its product portfolio. As of December 1st, OSG will also support the Micromed installations in the Benelux.

    OSG will supply software products to all members of the Micromed Group to create a common platform. In addition, the Micromed Group will sell the OSG software in the US and other parts of the world.

  • OSG is moving to a new location! 30-10-19

    On the 5th of November, OSG is moving to a new location! Only a few minutes away from our current location, OSG is expanding its office space to accommodate new colleagues and new activities.

  • Cleveland Clinic 2nd US Hospital to obtain RT Software Suite Research License 07-06-19

    For the research of REM Sleep Behavior Disorder, the Center of Sleep Medicine of Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, has obtained an RT Software Suite research license.

  • Hospital Clínic of Barcelona acquires BrainRT equipment for PSG and EEG 12-02-19

    We have recently equiped all Acquisition and Review Units at the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory and Multidisciplinary Sleep Disorders Unit of Hospital Clinic Barcelona with the RT Software.

  • 24th Congress of the European Sleep Research Society 17-08-18

    OSG will be attending the 24th Congress of the European Sleep Research Society in Basel, Switzerland.

    In these 4 days (25-28 sep), OSG wants to improve its knowledge in the research of sleep neurology. That knowledge can be integrated into BrainRT which makes the software even more advanced. In this way, OSG continues to learn the newest developments in sleepresearch and stays ahead of their competitors!

  • Antwerp University Hospital uses BrainRT to detect a rare type of epilepsy! 04-04-18

    VTM program Helden Van De Kinderkliniek shows the 6 year old Lauren who suffers from severe epileptic seizures.

    Professor Ceulemans and his team are looking for the right medication to treat this rare type of epilepsy. Therefore a correct diagnosis of the epilepsy is necessary. Advanced Software and Hardware are provided by OSG to conduct a full EEG study.

  • OSG introduces new Polygraphy Amplifier! 27-11-17

    For Polygraphy recordings OSG offers a new compact amplifier, integrating directly to the RT Software Suite.

    Apart from the traditional signals such as RIP belts, SpO2, nasal flow and thermistor, this Polygraph offers a unique effort detection tool by means of mandibulatory movement. In addition, the recorder offers one multi-use channel (for EMG, ECG, Pneumotachograph).

  • RIZIV publishes new Belgian reimbursement rules for CPAP and MRA treatment 09-01-17

    On the 1st of January 2017, the new reimbursement rules for OSAS treatment come into function, as published by the Belgian Institute for Disease and Disability

    This includes the possibility to use polygraphy as a tool to measure the efficacy of MRA treatment and the OAHI as criterium for qualification to CPAP/MRA treatment.

  • OSG now compatible with any TCD device for video + audio recording 05-10-16

    OSG has developed a brand new interface for OR monitoring, allowing to record images and audio from any Trans Cranial Doppler device as video of the EEG acquisition.

    It is even possible to record TCD images as well as live images of the Operation Room, thanks to the BrainRT video option to record up to 4 camera's!

  • OSG installs BrainRT-Draeger interface 20-07-16

    At ULB Hôpital Erasme Brussels and Erasmus MC Rotterdam, OSG has completed the first installations of the BrainRT - Draeger interface.

    The BrainRT - Draeger interface allows to record data from the BrainRT device and Draeger device simultaneously. By bringing all data together in one software, the interpretation of the patient status becomes a lot more efficient!

  • BrainRT software integrates data from NIRS device via Philips IntelliVue monitor 01-07-16

    OSG offers the possibility to record EEG data simultaneously with the haemodynamic data from the Philips IntelliVue monitor. This now includes cerebral oxygen saturation (through NIRS technology).

    By bringing all relevant information together in one software, real time surveillance especially of neonates on the Intensive Care Unit becomes a lot more efficient.

  • OSG supports Go-Pro camera for ambulatory recordings 31-12-15

    In its latest software version, OSG supports the GoPro camera format for ambulatory recordings!

    This allows parents of children with epilepsy under EEG surveillance to capture seizures on video, even when the patient is not inside the house. Thanks to a smart watch, the parents can easily initiate video recording of the Go-Pro camera when their child has a seizure.

    In the OSG software, all video recordings are linked and time locked to the EEG data for easy review of EEG signals and video.

  • Automatic Periodic Leg Movement Analysis Validated 11-12-15

    The Automatic PLM Analysis in RT Software Suite has been validated as a perfectly reliable scoring tool!

    In her validation essay, PhD Ambra Stefani of the Neurologische Schlaflabor in Innsbruck, Austria found excellent correspondance to manual scoring: 97% Sensitivity, 1% False positives

  • OSG creates new HL7 connection: PSG results to EPD 07-08-15

    With this new connection, OSG offers the ability to send single result values such as the AHI, the percentage of REM and other important values of the sleep recording.

    This allows to represent the PSG results in a more efficient way in the Electronic Medical Record. It also reduces the amount of work for the secretary typing reference letters to the GP.

  • OSG creates new report functionality: Split Night reports 15-06-15

    In BrainRT v3.1, OSG has created a new reporting function, to compare different parts of the acquisition in one report.

    You simply enter the start and stop time of each reporting period and get a full report, including an overview table for easy comparison.

  • Martini Ziekenhuis disproofs Sleepspray 09-04-15

    Martini Ziekenhuis has tested a Sleepspray for EditieNL which claims to have a beneficient effect on deep sleep.

    As the sleep technicians point out: the spray does not reduce sleep onset latency in a significant way. However, if the patient benefits from a soothing fragrance, a lavender plant will do the trick just as well.

  • BrainRT software installation on Philips IntelliVue 08-04-15

    On the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in UZ Leuven, the IT department and OSG have completed installation of the BrainRT software directly on the Philips IntelliVue iPC (MX800).

    This implementation allows the EEG specialists to perform multi-modal IC monitoring without packing the room with additional material. All you need is the EEG headbox!

  • CHU Besançon bans reusable thermistors 07-04-15

    CHU Besançon introduces disposable thermistors in the sleep lab, in order to guarantee patient safety with regard to infection and disease. The alternative: ThermoCan, which is cannula-and-thermistor-in-one.

    The ThermoCan is the patient friendly solution for AASM compliant sleep recording. Instead of using two separate nose inserts (one for the cannula and one for the thermistor), the ThermoCan offers a single nose insert for two signal recordings.

  • OSG creates BrainRT installation manual for App-V 5.0 virtualization 06-04-15

    The BrainRT and SleepRT software are now compatible with App-V 5.0 for software virtualization. Check our customer area to download the manual.

    OSG offers a complete App-V manual for software virtualization, which allows you to implement the software in the hospital's virtual desktop. This allows the application to follow the user on every computer he wishes to continue working for maximum flexibility.
